Erarta Shop online store sells prints of artworks by contemporary artists and souvenirs inspired by their art. The museum’s virtual collection contains more than 3000 digital copies of paintings, drawings, etchings, and more. Each copy was made using sophisticated professional equipment. We make all prints and souvenirs at our own on-site workshop, because we want to control their quality at each stage of production.
Our Equipment
We use museum-quality Cruse scanner to digitalise the artworks. Such scanners are used in the Vatican Archives and at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina library in Egypt. The scanner allows us to accurately recreate the colour palette and the pictorial surface texture. The resulting digital images can be easily scaled up with no loss in quality to create large-size interior panels and exterior murals.
Our Team
All necessary work, from scanning and processing of the digital image to printing and applying the finishing touches, is performed by our workshop’s professional team consisting of designers, fine art restorers and artists.
Among our customers are Pulkovo Airport, Four Seasons and Sokos hotel chains, Geropharm and Glavstroi companies, and Ginza Project restaurants. Many prints created by our workshop were acquired by private collectors in Russia and abroad. Their quality was repeatedly praised by Cruse, Epson, and Lomond equipment vendors, museum experts, architecture and design firms.
Materials
Erarta Shop workshop uses two printmaking methods:
— print on paper or canvas;
— giclée print on canvas — a fine art print finished by hand with actual brushstrokes.
We use waterproof and flexible canvases that can be easily stretched onto a frame, and archival quality art paper.
