Hodyrev Roman

Using cutting-edge computer technology, Roman Khodyrev is spearheading an art movement known as Om Optical Art. Roman’s creations are inspired by the philosophy and lifestyle of the esoteric yogic community he was introduced to in Riga, Latvia. Manipulating graphic elements and geometric shapes in various ways, the artist creates vibrant, dynamic images. Khodyrev’s artworks entrance and hypnotise: their rhythmic repetitions, contrasts, and mirror effects prompt the viewers to look intently at the canvas and come up with their own interpretations of what they are seeing.

Artist, musician, photographer, and traveller, Roman Khodyrev was born in Leningrad in 1981 and spent his childhood years in Riga, Latvia. His preferred media are digital art and Om Optical Art.
